Hi, I’m Courtney
A product designer with 15+ years of experience. For the past 3+ years, I've been embedded through Kettle on T-Mobile's product team, working across an AI-driven customer support experience, an accessibility-focused app for Deaf and hard-of-hearing customers, and the widget system that now anchors T-Mobile's app home screen.
I believe in designing for how people actually behave, and I’m at my best when I can bring the right people into the room to solve a problem together. Research and data help ground the work, while jam sessions with stakeholders, engineers, and other designers often lead to the ideas that make a solution feel less like a compromise and more like the obvious answer. I thrive on teams like this, where collaboration, craft, and care for the work are the norm, not the exception.
-
I care deeply about the craft, from the overall interaction down to the smallest details. I’m always looking for ways to make an experience feel clear, intentional, and effortless.
-
I’ve designed conversational experiences across text-to-speech, AI infobots, and AI-to-agent handoffs, thinking carefully about how people move between automated and human support.
-
I’ve worked on both AI-powered experiences and the ways AI shows up throughout a broader product, designing interactions that make new technology feel useful, understandable, and human.
-
Working on T-Access alongside a Deaf product owner changed how I think about accessibility from the start. From dark mode and text sizing to the details of interaction, accessibility becomes much more than a checklist when it’s built into the foundation.
-
I prototype across my projects to make complex experiences tangible, helping teams and leadership understand not just what we’re designing, but how the full experience comes together.

CONFIG 2026The edge case is everyone
I was the lead designer on T-Access, T-Mobile's accessible calling experience for Deaf and Hard of Hearing customers, and helped shape the story that was told on stage at Config 2026.
Outside the office
Outside of work, I take live figure drawing classes, bake for friends and family, and travel as often as I can, usually somewhere I can hike. I also coach group fitness classes at my gym, mostly because there's something satisfying about helping someone push a little harder than they thought they could.
